A solid job, and the Inlander's Best Of Hall of Fame for Best Mexican. I love the enchiladas.
Azteca is a Northwest group rather than a one-off, and it has held onto Inlander readers for years by being reliable rather than surprising. The Spokane-area location is out at the Valley Mall now — the downtown restaurant on Spokane Falls Boulevard is gone, and that space is Boiada Brazilian Grill these days.
Know what it is and it's a good night out: this is a full-service Mexican restaurant with a long menu, a margarita list, and consistency as its main argument. If you're hunting for the most authentic taqueria in town, that's a different search. If you want a comfortable table and enchiladas that land the way you expect, it's here.
