Crimson Door Cafe (also seen as Crimson Hearth) has become a genuine Spokane Valley destination — biscuits and gravy, croissant beignets with mascarpone icing, and a jalapeño cream cheese Benedict that draws people from as far as Idaho for a weekend breakfast. Owner Rick and his son Kaston greet guests personally, and that warmth comes through consistently in reviews.
A couple of reviews mention a slow start to service on the busiest mornings, and one memorable complaint about a restroom running short on hand soap. Neither dents the overall reputation here — this is a cozy, worth-the-trip breakfast spot, especially for the biscuits and gravy and the beignets.
