De Leon Foods – North Spokane

Same as the Valley store, just closer if you're on the north side. I've eaten at three of the De Leon's now, and the food has been really good at every one of them.

The Francis Avenue location runs the same way: a Mexican grocery with a real kitchen inside it, a meat counter selling its own seasoned cuts, and a deli turning those same ingredients into lunch.

Same advice as the Valley store, too — order at the counter, then shop while you wait, and expect to carry a tray to your own table. If you want the sit-down version of this food, that's the Hamilton Street location.
