De Leon's Taco and Bar

I've been to three of the De Leon's — the two market-and-deli locations and this one on Hamilton, which is the true sit-down of the group. All three are great, and if the other two are anything like them, I'd expect they're excellent as well.

The markets on Francis and Sprague are terrific, but they're markets with a deli counter: you order, you get a tray, you find a seat. Hamilton is the full version — a proper dining room and a bar, built around the same recipes instead of squeezed in beside the grocery aisles.

So pick by what you want out of the night. If it's a quick, cheap, very good lunch and a grocery run in one stop, go to Francis or Sprague. If you want to sit down with a drink and have someone take the order, come here. Same family, same cooking either way — this is just the one you bring people to.
