Foodie Review
Heritage Bar & Kitchen
Downtown Spokane · Family-Recipe Gastropub
We haven't made it in for a visit yet, so this one's built from what fellow diners and locals are saying — we'll update it with our own take once we've pulled up a chair.
Heritage built its menu around real family recipes, and it shows — the Fancy Nancy meat pies are named after co-owner Alex King's mom, and the Heritage Smash Burger and Hash Brown Burger (with house-made hash brown "buns") have become genuine local favorites. It's a casual, homey spot with local Spokane-themed decor — a Monroe Street Bridge motif, a Sasquatch mural — and a Wednesday trivia night that's become a neighborhood draw.
It's a solid, affordable weeknight or happy-hour pick rather than a special-occasion destination, and a handful of reviews mention an off night with a bland or oily burger, or slower service during a busy stretch. Most feedback is enthusiastic, particularly around the burgers and meat pies.
