Foodie Review
Los Habaneros
North Spokane · Authentic Taqueria
We haven't made it in for a visit yet, so this one's built from what fellow diners and locals are saying — we'll update it with our own take once we've pulled up a chair.
Los Habaneros has built a loyal North Spokane following on the strength of its scratch-made salsas — green, red, and avocado-crema, each specifically named and praised in reviews — alongside birria, al pastor, chicken tinga, and a fresh masa quesadilla that regulars call unlike anything else in town. It's simple, bright, and colorful inside, with counter and table service built for a quick, satisfying meal.
Service can get inconsistent with larger groups, and a dish or two has landed as merely average rather than excellent for a few reviewers. The overwhelming majority of feedback, though, is enthusiastic — a genuine neighborhood favorite for authentic Mexican food.
