We haven't made it in for a visit yet, so this one's built from what fellow diners and locals are saying — we'll update it with our own take once we've pulled up a chair.

Sorella has quickly become one of Kendall Yards' most sought-after Italian tables, built around owner Lauren Blumenthal's old-world recipes filtered through a modern, lively dining room. Dante's Meatballs are the dish everyone mentions first, but the focaccia, Alla Vodka pasta, and a limited-availability lasagna with béchamel earn just as much praise — reservations are recommended well ahead, since this place regularly books out a week or two in advance.

The room is warm and romantic on paper — moody lighting, candles — but in practice it runs lively and loud, with tables set close together, so it's not the spot for a quiet, intimate conversation. A few reviews mention inconsistency dish to dish (an oversalted carbonara, a caprese needing more acid), but the overall reputation here, especially for the meatballs and pastas, remains excellent.
