Anybody who likes Thai food in Spokane thinks of Thai Bamboo first. Always a hit with my family.
Thai Bamboo has three restaurants in the region, and the North Division location is the one most people picture — it moved a couple of blocks up Division back in 2011 and has been there since. The menu is broad enough that a table of picky eaters can all order happily, which is a large part of why it's the default answer to "where should we get Thai."
The heat scale is the thing to pay attention to. Order at the level you actually want rather than the level you want to be seen ordering, and ask if you're not sure — they'll steer you right. It's a family restaurant more than a destination, and it's very good at being that.
