From the sandwiches and burgers to the pastas and fish and chips, I'm never disappointed with a visit to The Onion. Add a deep beer list and it's an easy call.
The North Division taphouse runs a wider menu than the beer-bar label suggests — burgers and sandwiches, but pasta and fish and chips too, which means it works for a table that can't agree. The tap list is the reason it wins beer awards, and it's genuinely deep rather than just long.
A menu that broad is always a trade. Nothing here is going to be the single best version of itself in Spokane, and that's not what it's for. What it is: a reliable room where everyone at the table gets something they wanted and the beer is better than it needs to be.
