Trailbreaker Cider

Trailbreaker has a great vibe and a genuinely beautiful interior — I'm not entirely sure why, but I always feel good walking in. Great ciders and a simple but tasty food menu.

Trailbreaker started as a cider maker back in 2012 and now pours out of a striking two-story cidery in Liberty Lake, where you can watch the production while you drink. The cider list is the main event and it runs deep, but the food holds its own — pretzels, brats, a well-liked California wrap on a gluten-free tortilla, fresh salads with house-made dressings, and a salted-caramel-Oreo cheesecake worth saving room for. It's especially strong on gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

It runs on an order-at-the-counter, seat-yourself system, so it's more casual than full-service — no trouble once you know going in. For a relaxed afternoon with good cider and light food, it's one of the more pleasant rooms in Liberty Lake.
