Two different things sit under each event, and we keep them a long way apart on purpose.

This page looks about a month ahead — and about 95 days ahead for the handful of things the whole city plans around — far enough to plan around, close enough that we can still stand behind every date on it. Things that have finished disappear on their own. Dates and times come from the venue or organiser, and each listing links back to the source we checked. Things move — confirm with the venue before you drive across town. Spot something wrong? Tell us and we’ll fix it.

Farmers markets, tap takeovers, chef dinners, block parties, church suppers, a brewery’s fifth birthday — if Spokane is going to eat or drink at it, it belongs on this page. Send the date, the hours, and a link we can check it against, and we’ll write it up ourselves. We would far rather hear about it early than find it on Instagram the week it happens.

What is there to do in Spokane this weekend?

Foodie Spokane keeps a running calendar of Spokane-area events at foodiespokane.com/events — concerts at the Numerica Veterans Arena — the building most of Spokane still calls the Arena — and at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox, plus the Spokane County Interstate Fair, farmers markets, festivals and food events. Every listing links to the venue's own page, and each one names nearby restaurants we have reviewed so you can plan dinner around it.

Where should I eat before a show in downtown Spokane?

Every event on our calendar carries a short list of restaurants near that venue, chosen out of our own reviews rather than paid for. For downtown venues like the Fox and the First Interstate Center that usually means somewhere within a few blocks that can turn a table before curtain — tell them you have a show and order early.

Are the restaurant picks on this page paid for?

No. The "Our picks nearby" list under each event is chosen editorially from our reviews and is not for sale at any price. Restaurants can buy a separate "Featured" slot, capped at three per event — those are always inside a dashed box and always labelled Paid, so you can tell the difference instantly.

How accurate are these dates?

Each listing is checked against the venue's or organiser's own page and shows the date we checked it. Things still move, so confirm with the venue before you drive across town. Events that have finished drop off the page automatically.

How does a restaurant get featured on the Spokane events calendar?

Email rob@foodiespokane.com or use the Collaborate page at foodiespokane.com/collaborate. Featured slots are limited to three per event and are priced by the size of the event's crowd. Buying a slot never affects the editorial picks.
